The idea for AIEG was born in October 2018, during a FIEO trade delegation to Beirut and Damascus, at a time when exporters’ IGST refunds were stuck and thousands of businesses were suffering in silence.
Since 2019 he has brought exporters together on one platform, without charging a single rupee, to share knowledge, raise exporters’ issues together and take them to the right authorities. His inspiration is his father, Mr S. B. Syed, an engineering exporter who stood up for exporters and shipped diesel engines to Iran in 1986.

What is AIEG?
AIEG (All India Export Active Group) is a private community of Indian exporters, importers, manufacturers, logistics providers and trade professionals, started in 2019. Members share export-import knowledge, discuss trade problems and connect with each other. Every member is verified before joining.
Who can join AIEG?
Businesses that work in Indian export-import trade: exporters, importers, manufacturers, logistics providers such as freight forwarders and customs brokers, and trade professionals. Exporters and importers need a valid IEC (Importer Exporter Code).
Is AIEG membership free?
Yes. Membership is free for now, and nothing on AIEG is sold or charged today. Planned features are clearly marked as upcoming.
How long does membership verification take?
Our team reviews each application within 24 to 48 hours. We check your IEC number and business details (Know Your Member, KYM) and show you the result when you log in.
What do I need to apply?
Only your 10-character IEC number and basic business details, such as company name, city and what you trade. Uploading your IEC certificate (PDF or photo) is optional; GST details are not needed.
Are my documents and personal details safe?
Uploaded documents are scanned for malware and stored privately; only the verification team can open them. You sign in on a secure sign-in page, so this website never sees your password.
Can I message other members?
Yes. Once another member accepts your connection request, you can send each other private messages. You can block a member or report a message to our moderators at any time.
Does AIEG give legal or tax advice?
No. AIEG supports exporters through awareness, knowledge sharing and networking. For a specific legal or tax matter, consult a qualified professional.
